Despite two newcomers to the box-office weekend, Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania held onto the top spot over the weekend by a margin of $10.1 million.
Dropping three spots to sixth-place this weekend was Magic Mike’s Last Dance which added $1.89 million over the last three days to bring its overall total to $22.2 million. This movement also pushed Knock at the Cabin to seventh-place with $1.87 million. The film now claims a four-week total of $33.9 million. Landing in eighth-place was 80 for Brady as it fell two spots and finishing just behind the last two films with $1.8 million. The female-driven comedy now has a four-week total of $36.4 million. Holding steady in ninth-place was Missing which managed to find $1.0 million to lift its six-week total to $31.4 million. Again, Tom Hanks and A Man Called Otto claimed the final spot of the top ten, but only with $850,000 this weekend (though the film does have a nine-week tally of $62.3 million).
Again, two films were forced from the weekend box office over the past three days as the re-released Titanic finished just beyond the top ten after finishing in seventh-place last weekend. Still, the film added $14.5 million over the last three weeks to its already impressive initial total. Last weekend’s eighth-place film, Marlowe departs the top ten after amassing $3.4 million.
