The Bad Guys maintained its place on top of the box-office weekend by once again finishing ahead of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 this week by $4.7 million.
Also climbing one spot to land in sixth place, was The Lost City. The Sandra Bullock film added $3.9 million over the weekend to bring its six-week total to $90.8 million. Dropping two spots to finish in seventh place in its second week of release, was the Nicolas Cage vehicle The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent which added $3.9 million over the weekend to lift its two-week total to $13.5 million. The weekend’s sole debut this weekend was the Liam Neeson starring Memory which brought in $3.1 million over the weekend and finished in eighth place. This knocked last week’s eight-place finisher down to the ninth spot as the film managed $2.2 million over the weekend to lift its three-week total to $17.6 million. Finally, after finishing in ninth place last weekend, the non-Marvel Marvel movie Morbius dropped to the tenth spot with $1.5 million over the weekend. This gives the film a five-week total of $71.5 million.
For the first time in awhile, only one film was pushed from the box-office weekend top ten as Ambulance drove off into the sunset with a four-week total of $21.1 million.
