Last weekend’s top film, The Woman King, was knocked to a second-place finish this box-office weekend by newcomer Don’t Worry Darling which bested the Viola Davis vehicle by $8.1 million.
Falling two spots to finish in sixth-place was See How They Run with $1.9 million to show over the weekend. This gives the film a two-week haul of $6.1 million. Dropping a couple spots to finish in seventh-place was Bullet Train which brought in $1.8 million in its eighth weekend of release. This gives the film a total of $99.2 million to date. Only dropping one spot in the top ten was the animated DC League of Super-Pets which took in $1.8 million in its ninth weekend in release to claim the eighth spot of the countdown and lift its overall total to $90.0 million. Precipitously falling three spots to finish in ninth-place over the weekend was Top Gun: Maverick with $1.6 million. Finally, last weekend’s penultimate finisher, Minions: The Rise of Gru took possession of the tenth spot of the weekend box office with $1.0 million. This gives the film a thirteen-week total of $365.5 million.
