Jinn, a new horror thriller written and directed by Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad, seems to have it all: ancient mythology, supernatural beings, and humans battling overwhelming forces in a classic struggle for survival. But most of all, Jinn has Firebreather, a highly customized Chevrolet Camaro built especially for use in the film.
Firebreather started life as a standard 2011 2SS Camaro, itself no slouch with a 6.2-liter, 426-horsepower V8 engine, six-speed manual transmission, tuned suspension, and four-wheel Brembo disc brakes. Even in stock form the Camaro’s black paint and hunkered-down stance gave it a sinister vibe. But then Michigan-based Classic Design Concepts (CDC) got ahold of it.
Well known for its line of aftermarket style and performance parts, CDC took Ahmad’s initial design for Firebreather and brought it to life with all-new front and rear body panels, hood, headlights, rear deck, taillights, and plenty more. Only the doors and roof remain stock. Firebreather’s interior was trimmed out in black leather with unique embroidered logos. Door panels, steering wheel, console, and other surfaces received a custom Piano Black lacquer treatment, while red ambient lighting provides an appropriately otherworldly glow.

Of course CDC didn’t forget the “go” when it added the “show.” The already potent V8 was energized with an Edelbrock E-Force supercharger, cold-air induction system, and Cat-Back dual exhaust system, taking it to more than 600 horsepower. Handling was beefed up with Eibach Pro-Plus suspension, custom 20-inch wheels with red graphics, and Pirelli P-Zero high-performance tires.
If you really like it, CDC will be happy to build a version to your specifications. Visit their web site for details.
