Paramount Pictures has released a trailer for writer/director Richard Linklater’s new film Everybody Wants Some. The film is said to be a spiritual follow-up to Linklater’s cult-classic Dazed and Confused (1993). You can enjoy the trailer above!

Set amidst college life of the 1980s, the film follows a group of college baseball players as they attempt to navigate their way through the freedoms and responsibilities of unsupervised adulthood.

The film, which takes its title from a 1980 Van Halen hit, is written and directed by Richard Linklater and produced by Megan Ellison of Annapurna Pictures, Linklater, and Ginger Sledge. The film also boasts an ensemble cast that features Will Brittain, Zoey Deutch, Ryan Anthony Guzman, Tyler Hoechlin, Blake Jenner, Glen Powell and Wyatt Russell.

Everybody Wants Some is set to premiere as the Opening Night film for the 23rd edition of SXSW Film on March 16, 2016 in Austin, Texas. Paramount Pictures will release the film in theaters on April 15, 1016. For now though, let us know what you think of the trailer and new posters.
