On Sunday, July 19, 2015, Jake Gyllenhaal and Eminem made a surprise appearance at an advance screening of Southpaw in Eminem’s hometown of Detroit. Gyllenhaal stars as Billy “The Great” Hope and Eminem is the Executive Producer of the film, his record label, Interscope Records,
The pair talked enthusiastically about the film and their involvement and then quickly ducked out before the screening began. Check out the video of the appearance above as well as a couple photos below. Don’t forget to check Southpaw out when it’s released on July 24th.
