A new film took the lead of the box-office weekend over the last three days as "F1: The Movie" claimed first place by a margin of $36.2 million.

The live-action "How to Train Your Dragon" held the top spot of the box-office weekend by $7.0 million to remain the top film for a second consecutive week.
