"Venom: The Last Dance" laid claim to the top spot of the box-office weekend for the second week in a row as it took the throne by a margin of $18.5 million.

The top film of the box-office weekend last week, "Smile 2," fell to "Venom: The Last Dance," which debuted in first place by a margin of $41.6 million.

Two new films cracked the box-office weekend top ten this past weekend, and one of them – "Smile 2" – took over first place by a margin of $12.9 million.
