A new film claimed the top spot of the box-office weekend as "Sonic the Hedgehog 3" debuted this week $27 million ahead of its closest competition.

For the third weekend in a row, "Moana 2" held the top spot of the box-office weekend top ten; this weekend holding on by a margin of $4.1 million.
