The Michigan Movie Critics Guild (MMCG) has announced its winners for the best films and performances of 2024. This year, "Anora" was the big winner.

For the third consecutive week, "Venom: The Last Dance" held the top spot of the box-office weekend as it bested the second-place film by $5.1 million.
"Venom: The Last Dance" laid claim to the top spot of the box-office weekend for the second week in a row as it took the throne by a margin of $18.5 million.
The top film of the box-office weekend last week, "Smile 2," fell to "Venom: The Last Dance," which debuted in first place by a margin of $41.6 million.
