Robert Zemeckis' "Pinocchio" is a slick and soulless telling of the beloved story, and one of the most forgettable of Disney's recent remakes.

"Lightyear" might feel like a step down after a run of Pixar movies, but the "Toy Story" spin-off has some thrills and moments of surprising emotional power.

"Chip n' Dale: Rescue Rangers" is a silly and very subversive romp that delivers big laughs and must have been a nightmare for Disney's team of lawyers.
