The brothers Mario held the box-office weekend by a wide margin as "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" bested the second-place film by $77.8 million this weekend.

Yet again, a new film stands atop the box-office weekend as "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" took control of first place by a margin of $131.8 million.

"Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves" managed to edge out last weekend's top film, "John Wick: Chapter 4," by $10.3 million to win the box-office weekend.
