A new film sits atop the box-office weekend, as "Sonic the Hedgehog 2" displaced "Morbius" from the number one spot by a margin of $60.8 million.

As quickly as "The Lost City" claimed to top of the box-office weekend seven days ago, it was displaced this weekend by newcomer "Morbius" by $24.3 million.

For the first time in nearly a month the box-office weekend had a new film atop its leaderboard as "The Lost City" bested "The Batman" by $10.5 million.
