A Terrified Tom Cruise Shoots the Plane Stunt for Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation!

Have you ever wondered why movie stunts sometimes look so real? Well, it’s because sometimes they are. Take for example this featurette for Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation that takes a look at some of the film’s stunts, particularly the one involving star Tom Cruise and a plane (you’ve seen it in the trailers I’m sure).

Mission: Impossible – Rogue NationThis has been a consistently worthwhile series from its inception and that is no doubt due in large part to its star. Say what you want about him, but if you don’t think he’s a legitimate movie star, then I don’t know what you think one is. Sure, there have been great supporting players in these films and the best entries have involved compelling stories as well, but Cruise is the reason the whole thing works and his dedication to his craft is evident in the featurette found above.

So I, for one, am really looking forward to Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation. Are you?
