The CroodsThe Croods is fantastic. I love how there are funny and serious parts in the film. The Croods is an animated movie. It’s about a family of cavemen called the Croods. They go about living their normal life and they don’t know their world is about to change. They hunt for food during the day and during the night they sleep in their cave, safe from the creatures outside. They meet Guy, a character with some edge that helps them on their journey to explore new places. He is kind of a cool guy. Guy teaches the Croods to relax a bit and have fun. In the end the Croods realize that having too many rules is not good and that family comes before anything.

The Croods was made in 3D. The 3D was pretty good. It really made some parts stand out and the scenes come to life. I felt like I was in the movie and the characters were right there in front of me. In some parts the 3D was too intense and it distracted me from the scene.

My favorite characters in The Croods are Eep, Guy, and Belt. Eep (Emma Stone) is a playful girl who just wants to get out and have fun. Also, she tries something new and finds out no one is safe in their world even if they follow all the rules. Guy (Ryan Reynolds) is a teenager who likes to take risks. Guy is trying to go to a place far away and he could die in the process. Guy also he wants to have fun and learn new things. Belt (Chris Sanders) is a monkey who is funny and cute. He is called Belt because he keeps Guys pants up by being curled up on guy’s waist exactly like a belt. He is a monkey that can take care of himself. These charters are my favorite because they make the movie more of an adventure and they are funny.

One of the scenes in the movie that I really liked is when the Croods get shoes. Eep freaks out and says “ahhh, I love them, where are my feet.” I liked this part because it made me laugh and shows what they know about the world today. A sad part is when the dad helps his family and Guy, but not himself. Everyone is sad because they are worried about the Dad. Then something amazing happens, but to find out you’ll have to see the movie for yourself.

The Croods is a movie worth seeing. I am sure you will be laughing out loud. I left the movie feeling happy and satisfied. I am glad that I was able to see The Croods. I hope you will go to see the movie and feel this excitement for yourself.
