"Turning Red" is a burst of of freshness from Pixar that portrays the awkwardness of puberty filtered through the lens of a 13-year-old Chinese-Canadian girl.

The skill with which director Matt Reeves and crew construct "The Batman" allows it to move swiftly along to an epic third act that does not disappoint.

While "Uncharted" is far from being unwatchable, it is a rote video-game adaptation that does not have enough going for it to elevate it above mediocre.
