The new Disney/Pixar film – "Inside Out 2" – has the distinction of being one of those rare sequels that equals – and in some ways – surpasses the original.

A heavier-than-expected narrative may turn some off of "IF," but it is one of those rare family films that explores exactly what it means to be such.
