A new film sits atop the box-office weekend as the Halloween-themed "Five Nights at Freddy's" took control of the box office by a margin of $63.3 million.

While it may be more horror than anything else, there is more at work in "Five Nights at Freddy’s" than not, making it the best Blumhouse offering to date.

"Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" once again dominated the box-office weekend, beating the rest of the pack by $20.0 million.
