"Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" builds on the first film to deliver one of the most inventive, audacious and most enjoyable superhero movies ever.

Despite the many problems facing "Book Club: The Next Chapter," there is a decent film to be had here, but this current incarnation is not that film.

The latest in the series, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" is ultimately more of the best elements of the formula that proved so successful in previous entries.
