The film, Unfit: The Psychology of Donald Trump, a new documentary that examines the psychology of Trump as well as his supporters, is scheduled to be released theatrically and via virtual cinema on August 28, 2020. Shortly thereafter, on September 1, it will be made available via a variety of On Demand and streaming platforms. During the 2016 campaign, mental health professionals felt policy-bound from speaking publicly. Now, after years of observation, for the first time ever, they have decided enough is enough.
