"Top Gun: Maverick" stood no chance against the debut of "Minions: The Rise of Gru" as the sequel beat it by $92.2 million to win the box-office weekend.

After ceding the top spot to "Jurassic World Dominion" for the last two weeks, "Top Gun: Maverick" bested "Elvis" to claim the top of the box-office weekend.

Lionsgate has released first look images and the official trailer for "White Bird: A Wonder Story," with Ariella Glaser, Orlando Schwerdt, and Bryce Gheisar.
