The top film of the previous box-office weekend was again pushed out of first place by a new release as "Superman" assumed control by a margin of $82 million.

Although it may not be the game changing cinematic event many fans were hoping it would be, SUPERMAN does bode well for the future of the DC Cinematic Universe.

The trailer, poster, and a few images from the upcoming release "The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants," starring Tom Kenny and Clancy Brown have all been released.
