Few feature-film debuts have proven to be as impressive and promising of a great talent as has 'Nine Days' by filmmaker Edson Oda.

Although the new version vastly improves upon the initial incarnation, there is still an underlying penchant to make everything as dark and violent as it could possibly be.

In the vein of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” films, comes a much feebler and unsuccessful attempt to spin another park attraction into celluloid gold.
