After two weeks atop the box office, "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire" was bested by newcomer "Civil War" by $10.2 million to lose the box-office weekend crown.

For the second consecutive week, "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire" held the top spot of the box-office weekend, handily besting second place by $21.6 million.

Once again, a new film debuted atop the box-office weekend as "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire" easily defeated its second-place competition by $64.3 million.
