With "Thunderbolts*," the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been put back on track and made the films not only entertaining, but must-see events again.

While "Captain America: Brave New World" may harken back to earlier films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it also fails to regain the momentum of the series.

The latest in the series, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" is ultimately more of the best elements of the formula that proved so successful in previous entries.

The camaraderie and all-out good time being enjoyed throughout "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" speaks to the enterprise having its heart in the right place.

While it proves wildly entertaining and engaging for most of its running time, "Thor: Love and Thunder" ends up a bit too light on the story side of the ledger.
