The Unbelievable Number of Tesla Films to Be Made

While we are talking about fiction, science fiction and non-fiction stories of little importance, many filmmakers are currently exploding with ideas to make films based on Nikola Tesla’s life and work. It all happens like a thunder, explosion from the heavens, with studios and independent filmmakers alike. They are actively seeking investors, crowd funding and sponsorships, partnerships with studios, while simultaneously doing the hard work of script writing, research, and casting.

Tesla and the Lamplighter

It seems like the world is awakening, an angelus force is impacting our consciousness. Up to this point, history has been filtered in many ways, and most people believed the media and the government. But with such an activist-like attitude, that is going to change. As people, we are starting to think Tesla’s way, bringing awareness of using free energy, caring about the environment and looking at the future with his eyes. In this article, I will discuss all the rumored current productions (in no particular order) and give brief information about them.

In addition to the films listed below, there are many other much lesser known Tesla productions that difficult to obtain information on. There have been many unsuccessful crowd funding attempts by many other independent filmmakers. All of these productions happen to have been attempted in 2013. Hopefully, the films below will make you curious to see what is going to happen in the future?

Directed by Joseph Sikorski

Tower to the People

Joseph Sikorski is a dedicated and true fan of Tesla’s life and work, and has been involved in researching and working on raising the awareness of Tesla for the last fourteen years. As a result, a documentary written by himself and Michael Calomino called Tower to the People: Tesla’s Dream is going to be released on his birthday in July 2014. The documentary is about the site of the last remaining lab, where the inventor dreamed of sending wireless energy to the entire world from a 187 foot tower he constructed. The tower is gone, but a crowd funding effort saved the historic lab building. Tower to the People examines Tesla’s work performed at Wardenclyffe, and explores the past, the present, and the future of this historically important and symbolic site. It includes interviews from the many people who have dedicated their time in preserving Tesla’s legacy like William Terbo (Tesla’s great grand-nephew), Serbian Consulate General Mirjana Zivkovic, author Marc Seifer, Tesla historian Gary Peterson, internet comic Matthew Inman (The Oatmeal), and so many others.

This documentary is being made to bring attention to the Tesla Museum at Wardenclyffe. Though the last lab of Nikola Tesla on the planet has been saved, the restoration effort will take many millions of dollars to create a world-class museum to honor the greatest inventor of all time.

Fragments from Olympus

A continuation of Tower to the People, Fragments of Olympus: The Vision of Nikola Tesla is an award-winning screenplay for a feature film written by Joseph Sikorski and Michael Calomino, with a cast featuring Mickey Rooney, Sean Young, Michael Lerner, Leo Rossi, Don Swayze; and cinematographer Howard J. It is two stories – the FBI investigation, and Tesla’s biography, in one film. The research includes pouring over hundreds of recently declassified FBI documents.

Fragments from Olympus has been featured in all major international news outlets like the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, Business Week, Pravda, Da Rijjd, the New Zealand Herald, and others. Due to the passionate volunteer work behind the film, it is the only production supported by the three major Tesla organizations – The Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe, The Tesla Science Foundation, and the Tesla Memorial Society.

Return of Tesla

This is the most unique film ever made about Tesla. It is way beyond his materialistic inventions and visions of the future of the world – it is about a man born in Serbia in 1966, with the same name, Nikola Tesla, who claims to be the reincarnation of old Tesla. His incredible stories include the awakening of humanity, raising the awareness of the global issues, protecting and preserving the environment, and becoming spiritual. Other stories include his ability to travel to the past and the future, going to different dimensions, conversations with angels and working on projects involving ethereal technology – what people will use in the future. His first message is that people cannot use his technology properly without understanding that there are no boundaries to the universe, and without being spiritual. His second message is that we are all energy, we are infinite and eternal – we never die.
