While some may contest whether his new film – "Challengers" – is director Luca Guadagnino’s best, it is undeniable that this is, simply put, a great film.

As do many other successful horror films, "Abigail" promises one narrative trope only to trip up the audience with a remarkably entertaining adventure yarn.

As far as period piece spy thrillers go, director Guy Ritchie’s "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare" stands near the top of the genre.
