A new film sits atop the box-office weekend after "Black Adam" debuted with an impressive $50.7 million more than second-place finisher "Ticket to Paradise."

"Halloween Ends" led the box-office weekend as it bested "Smile" by $28.9 million, sending the previous number one film to a very distant second-place finish.

"Smile" again finished on top of the box-office weekend. Although it's $6.1 million margin of victory this weekend was less than the $14.7 million of last week.
