A new film sits atop the box-office weekend, as "Sonic the Hedgehog 2" displaced "Morbius" from the number one spot by a margin of $60.8 million.

For the first time in nearly a month the box-office weekend had a new film atop its leaderboard as "The Lost City" bested "The Batman" by $10.5 million.

For the third straight weekend, "The Batman" maintained its stranglehold on the box-office weekend by a holding onto the top spot by $22 million.
