Box-Office Weekend: SPIDER-MAN Threepeats

For the third consecutive week, Spider-Man: Brand New Day held the top spot of the box-office weekend top ten by a significant margin. This weekend, that amount turned out to be $46.8 million.

“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” posterDuring its third weekend in release, Spider-Man: Brand New Day brought in $70.0 million for Sony Pictures Releasing, holding onto the top spot of the box-office weekend, while bringing the film’s overall total to $785.8 million. Meanwhile, the Universal Pictures release, The Odyssey held steady in second place with $23.2 million earned over the weekend, bringing that film’s five-week total to $504.7 million. Third place was claimed by newcomer The End of Oak Street, which brought in $21.0 million for Warner Bros. over the course of its opening weekend. Paramount Pictures saw its PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie enjoy a $20.5 million debut that resulted in a fourth-place finish this weekend. Meanwhile, Trafalgar Releasing’s Katseye: Wild Hearts took in $4.0 million to claim a fifth place debut over the weekend.

Focus Features saw its Six: The Musical Live! debut in sixth place where it took in $3.0 million for the studio. Meanwhile, The Brink of War debuted in seventh place with $2.7 million earned for Angel. Falling three spots, Toy Story 5 landed in eighth place where it added $2.3 million over the weekend to lift its nine-week tally to $475.5 million for Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Following a third-place finish a week ago, Universal Pictures’ One Night Only plummeted to eighth place this weekend where it added $2.0 million to bring its two-week total to $9.9 million. Finally, Shloka Entertainments saw its Vishwanath and Sons debut in tenth place where it brought in $1.6 million for the studio.

Six films were forced from this weekend’s top ten as the fourth- and sixth- through tenth-place films all failed to make the cut this week. After two weeks in release, Searchlight Pictures’ Super Troopers 3 brought in a total of $6.7 million before dropping out of the top ten. Meanwhile, following a sixth-place finish a week ago, Minions & Monsters fell out of the top ten with a seven-week total of $180.1 million taken in for Universal Pictures. After six weeks in release, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures’ Moana leaves the top ten with a $124.5 million total to show for its troubles. Following its $2.0 million debut in eighth place a week ago, Iconic Events Releasing’s Ice Cream Man dropped off of this week’s radar entirely. After eight weeks in release, The Invite has managed to bring in $25.1 million for A24, but it couldn’t hold onto its ninth-place finish from last weekend. Finally, after claiming tenth place a week ago, Oscilloscope’s CatVideoFest 2026 left the top ten with an overall total of just under $800,000.
