Box-Office Weekend: Shang-Chi Remains King of the Box Office
Yet again, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, maintained the top spot of the the box-office weekend in remarkably easy fashion, bringing in over $16 million more than its nearest competition.
For the third consecutive week, the Marvel juggernaut finished in first place. This week, the film added $21.7 million to give it a three-week total of $176.9 million. Meanwhile, last week’s second-place finisher, Ryan Reynolds and Free Guy, held firm in the second spot again this week, adding $5.2 million, to give the film a six-week total of $108.6 million. This gives the film a two-week total of $9.8 million as it seems destined to suffer a quick exit from the top ten in the very near future and hopefully make most of its revenue via online sources.
